WINDGAP:
Stories and Observations of Bullsh#tters

Author's Journey
My name is Julius Kabana. All my friends call me "Jules", and other people who are not my friends call me much worse. I was born in the little town of Windgap, Pennsylvania. Hence, that is part of the title of my book. Windgap: Stories and Observations of Bullshitters.
I grew up with a lot of laughter and humor. My friends were hilarious. My mother was very funny, but in a very sarcastic way.
If she liked you, she would call you a "little shit". She is the only person that I have ever known that could make saying "you little shit" sound sweet, charming and melt your heart. If she really loved you, she would call you a "little fucker." in an equally sweet way.

I have a teaching degree. A BS in education (extra heavy on the BS). Although, I started out as a teacher, but I eventually switched career paths and went into the healthcare field. Most of my adult jobs were being in charge of housekeeping and laundry in various hospitals. Our department was to make sure the hospital was clean and sanitary. So when I say "I know shit", I know it (literally and figuratively).

This brings me back to my book of bullshit stories. If you like to laugh, this book is for you. It's loosely based on my life and the funny people I've met. It is not politically correct, but it is freaking funny.

What people are saying about the book...
"If you're looking for a book that is real, raw, and unfiltered, Windgap checks all
those boxes. This read is not for the light hearted, and I say that in the best way. Julius puts together short stories and recollections about life experiences, and really makes them come to life. While reading this book, I went from laughing, to gasping, to anticipation. Reading this book took me back to my own younger years.
It made me think of my own experiences and adventures. Every character in this book is described with so much detail, I could envision each one in my mind clearly and vividly. While reading the hilarious stories, I could almost see myself as a bystander watching the shenanigans unfold. There were times I actually laughed out loud and could not peel my eyes away from the words on the page, anxious to see what happened next. Julius has a unique way of writing, and there is absolutely no sugar coating anything.
It's refreshing and exhilarating to read a book that is so real, honest, and at times, intense. This is the author's first book, and I look forward to Julius writing more books in the future. In my honest opinion, we need to see more books like this on the shelves. I hope you enjoy reading this book just as much as I did."
